UK GAMER BREAKS GUINNESS WORLD RECORD WITH TOMB RAIDER COLLECTION
[ 7 April 2026 ]
Guinness World Records has announced that Amy Dyson of the United Kingdom holds the record for the largest collection of Tomb Raider video games, with 291 items in her possession. Her collection includes multiple versions of the same games across a range of platforms, including Game Boy, PlayStation, Xbox and PC, as well as editions in different languages.
Ms Dyson told the Guinness World Records website that she has been a fan of the series since childhood, first playing Tomb Raider at around six. She was drawn to the game's puzzles and its female protagonist, Lara Croft, and her interest in the franchise continued to grow, especially after the 2001 film adaptation starring Angelina Jolie.
Guinness World Records reports that her collection exceeds the previous record of 215, set by Alejandro Cambronero Albaladejo of Spain in 2017. At the time she began expanding her collection with the aim of attempting the record, she owned approximately 100 games. In addition to video games, her collection includes related memorabilia such as posters and figurines. She has also shared her collection online and was credited in Shadow of the Tomb Raider for her involvement in the fan community.
