CHALLENGE MODE PATCH 1 FOR TOMB RAIDER I-III REMASTERED OUT ON SWITCH 2

Aspyr Media has announced that Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Challenge Mode Patch 1 is released today on the Nintendo Switch 2, following earlier releases on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile platforms. Changes include corrections to low-resolution textures and clipping on newly introduced outfits, as well as fixes to Lara Croft's braid physics, which previously caused visual inconsistencies in Photo Mode.

Additional improvements include the resolution of subtitle synchronisation issues, ensuring that dialogue text now aligns correctly with voiceovers and no longer lingers on screen. Mobile platforms also receive further gameplay enhancements, including the restoration of certain weapon modifiers, access to previously inaccessible bonus content, and the reinstatement of achievement tracking on iOS devices.

Aspyr has confirmed that development of a second Challenge Mode patch is already underway for all platforms. This forthcoming update will address broader technical issues, including game crashes, save data errors, artificial intelligence behaviour, and inventory-related bugs.
