LARA CROFT HEADS TO SARDINIA IN TOMB RAIDER SACRED ARTIFACTS ISSUE NO. 3
[ 25 March 2026 ]
Tomb Raider Sacred Artifacts Issue No. 3 has been released and is available digitally and in comic book stores. Published by Dark Horse Comics, this four-part miniseries centres on Lara Croft as she embarks upon the next chapter of her journey, forging a new path in the aftermath of the events of Tomb Raider Underworld and continuing her legacy as the Tomb Raider.
The story arc focuses on the British adventurer Lara Croft, who is forced to reassess her life after Croft Manor is destroyed by fire, compelling her to determine what truly matters to her. However, a confrontation with a mysterious adversary who has obtained a dangerous and familiar artefact provides unexpected clarity, setting Lara on a cross-continental journey to do what she does best, raiding tombs and pursuing legendary relics.
In this issue, Lara, Carter, and Anna depart for the Italian island of Sardinia. Yet it is not the white-sand beaches and pristine turquoise waters that bring them to this Mediterranean paradise. A dangerous legend, an ancient civilisation, and the enigmatic Postulant are somehow connected, and at the centre of it all lies a stolen artefact that may possess world-altering power. It falls to Lara to reclaim it before a secretive and familiar cult unleashes its true potential.
Tomb Raider Sacred Artifacts Issue No. 3 is written by Casey Gilly, with art by Antonio Di Caprio, colours by Eren Angiolini, lettering by AndWorld Design, and a cover by Antonio Di Caprio.
