FLYING WILD HOG HONOURS WOMEN IN GAMING WITH LARA CROFT TRIBUTE

In celebration of International Women's Day, the team behind Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis has highlighted the enduring influence of Lara Croft by inviting women involved in the project to share what the iconic adventurer represents to them. The initiative forms part of the studio's wider acknowledgement of the day, celebrating the achievements and perspectives of women contributing to the development of the upcoming title.

Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is a contemporary reworking of the original 1996 title that introduced Lara Croft and helped define the action-adventure genre. The project incorporates modern gameplay systems and updated visual technology, while retaining key elements of the original release and honouring the spirit of the classic.

The game is being developed by Flying Wild Hog in partnership with Crystal Dynamics and is built using Unreal Engine 5. Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled for release in 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
