CRYSTAL DYNAMICS LAUNCHES TOMB RAIDER 30TH ANNIVERSARY STREAMING KIT
[ 10 February 2026 ]
Crystal Dynamics has announced the release of a special streaming kit and themed backgrounds to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Tomb Raider series. The materials, available for free download via the official Tomb Raider website, are designed to enable fans and content creators alike to participate in the anniversary celebrations.
The streaming kit, inspired by the 30th Anniversary artwork, includes two overlays suitable for gameplay or general streaming, alert notifications for followers and subscribers, themed interstitials for scene transitions, and three bespoke emotes. Complementing this, the team has developed a collection of themed backgrounds for video calls or greenscreen use, broadening the opportunities for fans to engage with the franchise's milestone.
"This year marks three decades of tombs, traps, and adventures, and we're excited to celebrate Tomb Raider's legacy all year long," stated Crystal Dynamics. "Anyone is welcome to download and use these kits."
This release forms the initial phase of a broader anniversary programme scheduled throughout 2026. The initiative encompasses multiple collaborations with publishers, merchandise producers, and artists, including Dark Horse, Aspyr, Funko, and Blend Cota Studios. Offerings will range from comics and collectibles to fine art pieces, highlighting the enduring influence of the Tomb Raider franchise across diverse media over the past thirty years.
Later in the year, Crystal Dynamics plans to release Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis, a modern reinterpretation of the original title developed on Unreal Engine 5, set for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The newly released streaming kit and backgrounds represent some of the earliest publicly available commemorative materials for the anniversary.
