EVA LA DARE TO JOIN TOMB RAIDER CATALYST IN AS-YET UNKNOWN ROLE
[ 18 January 2026 ]
Eva La Dare, known for her roles as Sheva Alomar in Resident Evil 5 and Elena in the Street Fighter series, has confirmed that she will voice a character in Tomb Raider Catalyst. Although the character has not yet been identified, La Dare verified her involvement directly on X, bringing an end to speculation surrounding the game's announcement trailer. The Los Angeles-based actress confirmed the news during a brief exchange with fans, offering no further details about her role.
La Dare's confirmation follows online discussion about whether her voice appeared in the initial reveal of Tomb Raider Catalyst. While she did not expand on the nature or extent of her involvement, her acknowledgment was clear. "Can't say more yet, but I'm so excited to be part of this legendary franchise," La Dare posted in response to a question about her voice being both the narrator and an adversary in the announcement trailer.
The Tomb Raider franchise is set to return with its next mainline instalment, Tomb Raider Catalyst. Set in the aftermath of a mythical cataclysm that has unearthed ancient secrets and awakened long-dormant guardian forces, the game will follow Lara Croft on a new journey through the landscapes of Northern India. Developed using Unreal Engine 5, Tomb Raider Catalyst is scheduled for release in 2027 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
