EMBRACER GROUP REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO RESPONSIBLE USE OF AI IN GAMING
[ 18 September 2025 ]
Embracer Group has reaffirmed its commitment to integrating artificial intelligence into the development of video games, emphasising both innovation and responsibility. The comments were made by Kicki Wallje-Lund, Chair of the Board, during Embracer Group's Annual General Meeting.
"AI will certainly play a role in shaping the future of gaming. On its own, the impact may be limited at first, but when combined with tools and technologies, it has the potential to change, or even transform, the way that games are created, priced and experienced. And the world around us is moving fast; companies that are bold and thoughtful in adapting new technologies will shape the next era of our industry," said Kicki Wallje-Lund.
"And of course, it goes without saying that our responsibilities are clear. We should be among them, and as we embrace these new opportunities, we will do so responsibly, making sure our use of AI is both ethical and compliant," concluded Kicki Wallje-Lund.
