TOMB RAIDER SOCIAL UPDATED TO MASTODON 4.4.4

Tomb Raider Social has been updated to Mastodon 4.4.4 and is now accepting connections. The latest release introduces a range of stability and security improvements, including updated dependencies and a series of important bug fixes. These address issues with notification handling, moderation tools, and the Web interface.

Notable fixes include unresponsive areas around GIFV modals, missing confirmation prompts when drafting polls, and the improper display of polls in the moderation panel. The update also improves the behaviour of the 'Edit' and 'Delete & Redraft' functions for polls, enhances the processing of remote edited posts, ensures large user archives can be exported through Zip64 support, and resolves scheduler inconsistencies on some Redis configurations. Collectively, these refinements provide a more reliable and consistent user experience across the platform.

Tomb Raider Social is based on Mastodon, a decentralised, open-source social media platform that enables users to create and manage their own servers, or instances, each with distinct rules and themes. Unlike traditional social media, Mastodon emphasises user autonomy, privacy, and community governance, offering chronological, advertisement-free, and non-algorithmic content feeds.
