Core
Design's renowned British archaeologist Lara Croft
has lent her specially equipped Land Rover Defender
to the Heritage Motor Centre for the summer, where
it will displayed, within a special exhibition,
from the 28th July to 2nd September.
The Heritage
Motor Centre will also be giving away two cinema
tickets for Paramount Pictures Lara Croft: Tomb
Raider movie in a treasure hunt competition and
advising visitors to bring cameras so to be photographed
in front of the customised Land Rover V8 Defender.
Chris
Moon, a regular reader of tombraiderchronicles.com,
recently returned from a trip to the Heritage
Motor Centre after touring the grounds with his
son. Chris describes being met at the gate and
transported into the Motor Centre on a Land Rover
powered train, before finally coming face to face
with the customised V8 Defender vehicle used by
Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie in Paramounts
Tomb Raider movie.
Chris
told us: "The vehicle was very cool indeed and
we had a good close up look inside, and although
we were not allowed to sit in the Defender, it
was worth the wait."
The Heritage
Motor Centre is situated in the heart of the Warwickshire
countryside, in 63 acres of parkland and lies
12 miles from Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon
and 9 miles from the historic town of Warwick.
The Centre is just two minutes from junction 12
of the M40 and is signposted on the motorway.
Birmingham International Airport is just half
an hour away , with the nearest railway station
being Royal Leamington Spa.
