new series of Tomb
Raider Legend screenshots showcasing Lara
Croft on Nintendo DS and GBA care of Eidos
plc and developer Crystal
Dynamics. The game will release on portable
Nintendo in 2006.
Having
originally launched in 1996, Tomb
Raider remains one of the best selling videogame
franchises of all time, with over 30 million copies
sold and the title continues its legacy of compelling,
high-end gaming by bringing it to a new generation
of portable gamers.
Available
this fall, the handheld versions will faithfully
capture the detail and breadth of Lara Croft Tomb
Raider Legend for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment
system, Xbox video game and entertainment system
from Microsoft and the soon-to-be-released Nintendo
GameCube version.
