Eidos'
Deus Ex: Invisible War - sequel to the BAFTA award
winning Deus EX by ION STORM - has made a respectable
debut at #3 in the all formats UK games chart
with EA's James Bond adventure Everything Or Nothing
topping the charts for a second week. Sega's Sonic
Heroes displaces EA's Final Fantasy X-2, which
drops two places to #4 with Norton Internet Security
2004 bringing up the rear as the fifth most popular
all formats video-game.
Deus
Ex: Invisible War, for PC and Microsoft XBOX,
is set fifteen years since the end of the global
conspiracy depicted in Deus Ex. In the aftermath,
a catastrophic depression has crippled the world
and conflicting militant groups seek to enforce
their own violently destructive agendas. As corporate
anti-terrorist mercenary Alex D, players must
track these factions down and destroy them, honing
skills with molecular bio-modifications and hi-tech
weaponry in order to restore the world order.
