In the
true spirit of Saint Nick, Eidos
have announced that special bonus material for
Xbox 360 gamers will be available free on Live.
Four classic outfits for steely heroine Lara
Croft will be available to download for free
in the coming weeks. The publisher also plans
to release Beneath
The Ashes, the first of two extended chapters
on Xbox 360, shortly before Christmas.
The second
chapter, Tomb
Raider Underworld - Lara's Shadow, will follow
in early 2009 and introduce a new playable character
to the Tomb Raider experience. There has been
some talk of bringing additional content to Games
for Windows and Playstation 3 but so far no plans
have been formally announced by Eidos.
Beneath
The Ashes is expected to release around Christmas
2008 and will acquire the accumulation of points
on order to download and play. Exact details will
be announced soon. A mobile version of Tomb
Raider Underworld is also planned.
