Infrogrames,
the French entertainment company which had Eidos
Interactive in it's acquisition sights early this
year, has purchased ailing Hasbro games for $100m,
adding 200 titles to it's armament of computer
games. Earlier this year, Infrogrames was in reported
talks with Eidos Interactive, the makers of Lara
Croft and Tomb Raider, but both companies failed
to reach a financial equilibrium and the deal
was terminated with Eidos stating that it would
continue as an independent company.
