TOMB RAIDER TIPPED FOR OSCAR GONG

Hollywood's Oscar watchers have tipped Paramount Pictures Lara Croft: Tomb Raider motion picture for a possible award nomination in one of the special effects and technology categories at next years prestigious awards ceremony. Lara Croft: Tomb Raider stars former Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie who embarks on a perilous mission to rescue the Clock of Ages, and ancient time-traveling device, from the hands of an evil spectre. Originally slammed by critics across the globe, the Simon West helmed motion picture has generated over $200m in box office receipts since it's inception June 15th.

U2 RELEASE ELEVATION MUSIC DVD

U2's Elevation music video, which features on Paramount Pictures Lara Croft: Tomb Raider motion picture, has been released across the UK today in DVD format, marking the first ever digital versatile release from the Irish rock group. The Limited Edition Elevation DVD, featuring the Original and Tomb Raider single mix, also includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the band and Joseph Khan's Special Edition Elevation music video starring U2 in a desperate attempt to rescue band member The Edge from his evil twin counterpart.

EIDOS INTERACTIVE CONCLUDES SHARE INITIATIVE

Eidos Interactive, the company charged with publishing Core Designs Tomb Raider videogame, saw its share price increase 26.25 to 246.5p on the London stock market Thursday following the successful completion of a £51.7m rights-issue fundraising initiative which sees every third share offered at half price.
