THIRD TOMB RAIDER PIC NOT RULED OUT

Eidos' newly appointed North American CEO Bill Gardner has told The Hollywood Reporter that a third Tomb Raider motion picture hasn't been completely ruled out, despite indifference from The Cradle Of Life producer Lloyd Levin and a flat out refusal from Lara Croft star Angelina Jolie.

JAN DE BONT TAPPED FOR SHARK THRILLER

The magic arm to Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life director Jan de Bont has been tapped to helm the big screen adaptation of Steve Alten's shark thriller MEG, according to movie magazine Coming Soon! Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin - who both produced the Tomb Raider motion pictures, are also on board.

LARA CROFT ITEMS GO UNDER THE HAMMER

Cooper Owen will auction two authentic stunt guns from Lara Croft Tomb Raider and The Cradle Of Life on October 13, 2004 in London, UK. The first, Sale 2107 Lot 175, will feature a rare pair of original bronze coloured rubber stunt Heckler & Koch guns. The guns come directly from a member of the crew, and are accompanied by two call sheets from the film.

Former Lara Croft model Rhona Mitra will join American actor Rob Lowe and Jennifer Coolidge on CBS' The Late Late Show on 30th September, 2004. The actress, who stars in The Practice and Boston Legal, will talk candidly about her career to date, which includes the major motion picture Sweet Home Alabama co-starring Reece Weatherspoon, along with a string of TV appearances.
