NEW TOMB RAIDER MOVIE IN THE WORKS?

Despite domestic indifference to both previous Tomb Raider motion pictures, sources have stoked the fires of possibility once again on a third motion picture. Originally touted as a trilogy with Angelina Jolie at the helm, Ian Livingstone hinted at a continuation of the saga back in 2006. As Eidos wrestled with its own financial challenges, talk seemingly dispersed into thin air.

TOMB RAIDER TAPS TOP FRANCHISE GONG

British newspaper The Independent has crowned the Tomb Raider adventure game series from Eidos as the sixteenth best selling video-game franchise of all time. The paper also courts Eidos' creative director Ian Livingstone on what the firm must do to stay ahead of competition.

NEW TOMB RAIDER MOVIE COVERS DEBUT

Paramount Pictures has unveiled three new DVD covers for the re-release of both Lara Croft Tomb Raider motion pictures starring Angelina Jolie, fuelling speculation the studio may soon announce a third movie based on the video-game heroine of the same name.
