TOMB RAIDER ANNIVERSARY JOINS PLAYSTATION PLUS CLASSICS ON PS4 AND PS5

Sony has announced that Tomb Raider Anniversary, first released on 1 June 2007 for the PlayStation 2, will be made available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as part of its PlayStation Plus Classics initiative. Developed by Crystal Dynamics and originally published by Eidos Interactive, the game was conceived as a reimagining of the 1996 Tomb Raider. Drawing upon the framework established in Tomb Raider Legend, it sought to modernise Lara Croft's earliest adventure while retaining the structure and spirit of the original.

BAFTA GAMES IN CONCERT TO FEATURE TOMB RAIDER LEGEND SCORE

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced BAFTA Games in Concert, a live performance event celebrating two decades of BAFTA-nominated and award-winning video game music. The concert will be conducted by American composer Austin Wintory and will take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Saturday 31 January 2026.

LARA CROFT TEASER SUGGESTS FIRST GLIMPSE OF TOMB RAIDER ANIME SEASON TWO

A newly released video, shared by showrunner Tasha Huo on her official Instagram account, has prompted speculation that it may offer the first glimpse of Lara Croft in the forthcoming second season of Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft. The short clip, accompanied by the hashtags Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider Legend, was published earlier today.

GAMING HEADS ANNOUNCES TOMB RAIDER LEGEND LARA CROFT STATUE

Gaming Heads has announced a new statue based on Lara Croft as she appeared in Tomb Raider Legend. The figure is available in a number of variants including Regular, Exclusive, and Collective Editions and can be purchased from the official Gaming Heads website, with shipping tentatively scheduled for Q1 2026.

Today marks eighteen years since Tomb Raider Anniversary was released in Europe. Inspired by the first Tomb Raider video game, originally developed by Core Design and released in 1996, Tomb Raider Anniversary was developed by Crystal Dynamics and sought to faithfully preserve the elements which made the original Tomb Raider such a classic, selling over 7 million copies worldwide.
