TOMB RAIDER COLLECTION 1 OUT NOW ON EVERCADE

Tomb Raider Collection 1 releases today on Evercade, a cartridge-based retro gaming platform from Blaze Entertainment. Tomb Raider Collection 1 includes the first three Lara Croft-helmed video-games developed by Core Design, comprising Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II and Tomb Raider III, in their original 32-bit console form.

LARA CROFT HISTORICALLY 'WRITTEN BY MEN' SAYS ANIME SHOWRUNNER

Tasha Huo has told IGN that the character of Lara Croft was historically 'written by men, so she has been kind of this cold figure' during an interview about Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft, yet the first three Tomb Raider video-games were written by Vicky Arnold and Hope Caton and Andrew Sandham joined forces for Tomb Raider The Last Revelation.

EVERCADE EXP-R MOVED TO NOVEMBER 2024 RELEASE DATE

Blaze Entertainment has announced that the release of the Evercade EXP-R retro handheld gaming console has been delayed until November of 2024 following an issue with the production run. Tomb Raider Collection 1 is still scheduled to release on 30th of August, 2024, and the release of the Evercade VS-R gaming console has not been impacted.

ORIGINAL LARA CROFT BIOGRAPHY REPORTEDLY ALTERED

The original Lara Croft biography by Core Design has reportedly been altered in promotional material bundled with Tomb Raider Collection 1 for the Evercade retro gaming platform. Tomb Raider Collection 1 features the original Tomb Raider video-games developed by British studio Core Design and comes complete with a physical cartridge and booklet.

TOMB RAIDER COLLECTION 1 TO RELEASE 30 AUGUST 2024

Blaze Entertainment has announced Tomb Raider Collection 1 and the Evercade VS-R and Evercade EXP-R retro gaming consoles will release on 30th of August, 2024, following an 'unforeseen production delay and a subsequent shipping delay in transit.' The update was posted on the official Evercade website.
