Lara Croft's forthcoming nemesis Underpus has garnered quite a following over on Tomb Raider Forums as evidenced by contributions in this thread. However, Lara Croft will have to defeat this giant undersea squid by solving an enormous puzzle if she is to progress past the early levels of Tomb Raider Underworld. And Underpus isn't going down without a fight.

NEW INFO ON TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD

Playstation World is the latest magazine to publish an in-depth preview of Tomb Raider Underworld and floats new information on what to expect from Lara Croft's forthcoming adventure. The game is being developed by U.S. studio Crystal Dynamics and is scheduled for release December 2008.

UNDERWORLD SCORES NORSE MYTHOLOGY

Spanish video-game magazine Playmania is running a spread Tomb Raider Underworld littered with pearls on the upcoming Lara Croft-helmed adventure. According to the magazine, Lara Croft will uncover Mjolnir, the hammer wielded by Thor in Norse mythology. The mystical hammer will unravel clues to the location of Avalon, according to a translation of the magazine on Tomb Raider Forums.
