Tomb Raider Chronicles published 150 news articles in 2022 and these have been organised as part of our year in review. Since coming online on 15 July 2000 we have now published 10,579 pages, including 4,556 news articles and 73,572 images at time of writing. PROJECT EDEN FROM CORE DESIGN PRESS ASSETS

TOMB EDITOR AND TOMB ENGINE NOW AVAILABLE

A brand new engine for powering custom Tomb Raider levels has been released by the development team behind Tomb Editor. Tomb Engine (TEN) is now available to download from GitHub with documentation and a new dedicated section available on Tomb Raider Forums.

LARA CROFT TOMB RAIDER RETURNS TO BBC iPLAYER

Lara Croft Tomb Raider, the original motion picture based on the video-game series from Square Enix, is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom and will remain online for three months. The film stars Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie and is directed by Simon West.

SALES FIGURES FOR TOMB RAIDER SERIES PUBLISHED

A new edition of Treasure Hunters has been published on the official Tomb Raider blog that provides insight into the financials behind Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The Lara Croft-helmed adventure game cost 135 million dollars to produce (including promotion) and has sold 8.9 million units to date.
