TOMB RAIDER CHRONICLES RELEASED

Tomb Raider Chronicles, Eidos Interactives fifth instalment from their phenomenally successful Lara Croft adventure series, hit the shelves 9am this morning in Sony's Playstation format. CenterSoft, Eidos Interactives UK software distribution arm, also confirmed this morning that the PC Edition of Chronicles, which includes the much hyped Level Editor, will be available from Friday 24th November. Customers are advised to pre-order to secure their copies, and predictions suggest PC flavours will be the most popular format.

UK RELEASE BROUGHT FORWARD

Game, the UK computer and video games chain, has confirmed that Tomb Raider Chronicles will be available for purchase Friday 17th November. Our offices were informed this afternoon that copies were currently in store, but would not go on sale until tomorrow, and warned that demand was high.

TR CHRONICLES GOES GOLD

Eidos Interactive have today announced that Tomb Raider Chronicles has gone gold, which means after months of speculation, the final master disk has been compiled, completed and sent to the press for mass production. A general release date in the United States looks set for the 20th, although some stores are claiming that Chronicles will be available from Thurdsday 16th November. The European release of Chronicles is scheduled for the 27th November, with Australians waiting until December 1st for their copy.

CHRONICLES RELEASE DATE

With anticipation for the release of COREs Tomb Raider Chronicles becoming a frenzied speculative exercise between parties throughout the connected world, an email from Gary LaRochelle, according to Tombraiders, suggests a possible U.S retail release date week beginning the 20th November and a European debut week beginning 27th.
