Tomb Raider has now sold 75M units worldwide, according to data from Square Enix. Sales figures for both Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider, two of Square Enix's leading IPs, is attached to most press releases from the Japanese publisher.

Square Enix has released key artwork from Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will release digitally and at retailers in select countries on November 5, 2019 for the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, and Windows PC/Steam, with the Stadia version launching with the platform later in November.'

BRITISH FILMMAKER BEN WHEATLEY SCORES TOMB RAIDER

British filmmaker Ben Wheatley will direct the Tomb Raider motion picture sequel, according to a report by Deadline. The film will see Alicia Vikander reprise her role as British aristocrat Lara Croft. Both MGM and Graham King will produce. The Tomb Raider sequel is scheduled to debut on 19 March, 2021.
