KARIMA ADEBIBE ON FLESHING OUT LARA

Karima Adebibe has been chosen by Eidos as the new face of Lara Croft - joining the ranks of Jill de Jong, Lucy Clarkson, Lara Weller and Rhona Mitra in fleshing out Crystal Dynamics' international cyber heroine. The 20-year-old former Top Shop assistant will help promote the Lara Croft brand, including the upcoming Tomb Raider Legend video-game.

RHONA MITRA ON CBS' THE LATE SHOW

Former Lara Croft model Rhona Mitra will join American actor Rob Lowe and Jennifer Coolidge on CBS' The Late Late Show on 30th September, 2004. The actress, who stars in The Practice and Boston Legal, will talk candidly about her career to date, which includes the major motion picture Sweet Home Alabama co-starring Reece Weatherspoon, along with a string of TV appearances.

BOHEMIAN RHONA MITRA THORPEDO FAN

The Aussie contingent may have gone home empty-handed from the Emmy Awards in La La Land but the day wasn't a dead loss for those stuck here in Sydney. About 100 invited guests were treated to a touch of Hollywood tzusjing at the Establishment ballroom, with make-up artists, manicurists and masseuses on hand to kickstart the week in a refreshingly unusual way.
