Let's start with the issue of Lara's demise. The game takes you by surprise by kicking off at a memorial service for Ms Croft who went missing at the end of her last action-packed adventure. So while she's presumed dead, Jean Yves and Father Dunstan are staying round her house reminiscing about their adventures. Each of the flash backs turns into an adventure - meaning you get four very different Lara Croft outings for your money this time around.

Welcome to Kedleston Hall, the former Derbyshire home of Sir Nathaniel Curzon and the inspiration behind Core Design's Croft Manor, home of Lord and Lady Croft. Built in 1795 by Scot architect Robert Adam and heavily influence by ancient Rome and designs of the 16th-century Italian architect Andrea Palladio, Kendleston Hall is now owned and maintained by the British National Trust, but Viscount and Viscountess Scarsdale still reside in the manor house. 2218. Tomb Raider Chronicles - TOMB RAIDER NEXT GEN FACELIFT
Tomb Raider Chronicles will be the last version to appear on the Playstation, described by Core Design boss Adrian Smith as The culmination of all the best things we've worked on so far with Tomb Raider. The Next Generation will feature vastly improved character animation, with Lara Croft packing over 5000 polygons on her body as apposed to her current 500 on the Playstation, and early images of Next Generation demonstrate immediately the differences between the current Eidos Heroine and Core's new character.

2219. Tomb Raider Chronicles - TOMB RAIDER NEXT GEN EPISODES
Online magazine FGN has confirmed that Core Design will introduce a new trend to it's successfull Tomb Raider series, claiming that after the initial game is purchased, consumers will then be able to buy additional episodic add-on titles increasing the length of the game indefinitely, and introducing new adventures, locations and characters, as well as the ability to top up new features online. No financial details have yet been released as to how much the additional segments will cost, but FGN reports that future sequels will be developed, building the franchise into a huge epic story.

2220. Tomb Raider Chronicles - NELL MCANDREW TO PRESENT CYBERCAFE
Former Lara Croft model Nell McAndrew has joined Channel Four's Big Breakfast presenter Richard Orford to host Meridian TV's Cyber Cafe, filmed on location at The Fez bar in Southampton. Each week, the show spotlights the wierd and wonderful world of the Internet, with regular features including a live web-cam broadcast, special guest stars and a weekly challenge for Nell suggested by viewers.. Procuded and directed by Ronnie Cowing, Cyber Cafe is scheduled to run for 13 episodes, screening Thursday evenings on British Television.
