1737. Tomb Raider Chronicles - ANGEL OF DARKNESS EXCLUSIVELY ON PS2
Eidos Interactive has announced a partnership with console giant Sony Entertainment to keep the forthcoming Tomb Raider series exclusively on the Playstation 2 video-game console as well as the PC, dispelling earlier rumours of a possible Lara Croft debut on Microsoft Corp's XBOX entertainment system.

Rage Software, a UK games developer, yesterday stunned the market with a warning that second half sales would disappoint after turnover in the six months to December fell short of expectations. The gloomy outlook came just two days after rival games group Eidos gave its own profits alert. It knocked Rage's shares down 12 per cent to 3.75p.

Eidos Interactive has appointed Dutch model Jill De Jong as the new face of computer game heroine Lara Croft, replacing Lucy Clarkson following her two year tenure. At 6ft tall and measuring 34-26-38, Jill is a perfect incarnation of the worlds number one cyber-babe.

1740. Tomb Raider Chronicles - EIDOS LAUNCH THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS
A new Lara Croft for a new generation. Eidos Interactive and Core Design announce the return of the world's most famous video game character in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. The game will be released on PlayStation 2 and PC towards the end of 2002.
