1611.   Tomb Raider Chronicles - CIARAN HINDS TO PLAY DOCTOR REECE

Belfast-born and RADA-trained Ciaran Hinds will star opposite Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie in Par's Tomb Raider sequel The Cradle Of life. The 'Sum Of All Fears' actor will play evil villain Dr Jonathan Reece, bent on deploying an army of biological drones to wreak havoc on the world. Hinds made his film debut as a medieval knight in the 1981 Arthurian legend 'Excalibur' and was catapulted to the front ranks in costume epics by his 1993 portrayal of Shakespeare's 'Richard III'.

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie, in London shooting Par's Tomb Raider sequel The Cradle Of Life, has spoken to Entertainment Tonight on playing British aristocrat Lara Croft and her new role as mother to baby Maddox. The original Simon West-helmed video-game adaptation garnered more than $230 million in revenue worldwide, coining $48 million during its domestic opening weekend and remains the highest ever box-office earner for a female-driven movie.

Top Cow, the official Tomb Raider comic-book franchise publisher, has announced two new additions featuring British aristocrat Lara Croft and another host of evil adversaries bent on toppling the buxom gunslinger from her archeological pedestal. Both are penned to debut February 2003.

Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie is reportedly back with former husband Jonny Lee Miller five months after filing for divorce from Hollywood actor and musician Billy Bob Thornton. Jolie, currently in London shooting Par's Tomb Raider sequel The Cradle Of Life, dined with Miller at London's Claridges Hotel on Friday.
