To support and promote its new brand of Assurance tires in North America, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is launching one of the most intensive media campaigns in its history. On April 26, Goodyear's 30-second television commercial for Assurance will debut on both network and cable television, including ABC, CBS and NBC, along with ESPN, MSNBC, TBS, CNBC, The Discovery Channel and The History Channel.

1402. Tomb Raider Chronicles - YORKSHIRE WATER PULLS PLUG ON NELL?
Water waste! Yorkshire Water's proposed website featuring former Lara Croft model Nell McAndrew as a virtual tour-guide has apparently been flushed before even getting out of the pipes. Nell, who recently completed the 26-mile London marathon, had recorded the script to the world's first virtual sewage tour based around the company's Esholt sewage treatment works on the outskirts of Bradford. But at time of press, the company's web site appears to have been dumped.

1403. Tomb Raider Chronicles - BONNIER BUILDS STAKE IN EIDOS PLC
Eidos, the computer-games publisher best known in the City for its Lara Croft game, has demanded that a leading broker reveal the identity of a secretive investor who has amassed a £12m stake in the firm. Rumours of an imminent takeover bid for Eidos are widespread, as is speculation that Robert Bonnier, the controversial former chief executive of Scoot.com, is building a stake.

1404. Tomb Raider Chronicles - EIDOS CONFIRMS LARA'S E3 2004 ABSENCE
Eidos plc has confirmed Lara Croft will not be making an appearance at this years E3 expo. Although an early build of Tomb Raider 7 had already been mobilised by new developer Crystal Dynamics, Steve Starvis - Eidos' head of communications - dismissed an E3 debut, stating that the game will be showcased when the product is ready. Both Eidos and Core Design incurred a critical mauling the last time Lara Croft made an outing to the trade show and it would appear this time round Eidos are bent on refining one of their most potent franchises before revealing all.

1405. Tomb Raider Chronicles - IMAGE COMICS ANNOUNCES TOMB RAIDER 44
Image Comics has announced upcoming paperback adventures starring Lara Croft penned to debut June 2004. Tomb Raider Issue 44, written by James Bonny, pencilled by Wilson Tortosa, coloured by Tyson Wengler, with cover by Adam Hughes, features 32 pages of action and sees our intrepid heroine scout through the rural Irish countryside in search for a legendary talisman.
