HITMAN CONTRACTS SCOOPS BAFTA GONG

The original soundtrack from Eidos' #1 selling videogame HITMAN: CONTRACTS, composed and produced by Jesper Kyd, has been awarded best Original Music at the 2005 BAFTA Games Awards (www.bafta.org). The award honours the best original music score within an interactive videogame, recognising excellence in composition, production and integration.

EIDOS RELEASES HITMAN CONTRACTS PATCH

Eidos has released a patch for Hitman Contracts that addresses several technical issues and brings the game up to version 174. Fixes include: Fixed crash on ATI Radeon 8500, 9000 and 9200 on startup. Fixed crash when Restarting Asylum Aftermath level numerous times. Fixed crash when user got shot after reviving HM from slow-mo death sequence. Fixed crash while watching the free agent cut scene on the Lee Hong Assassination level. Fixed crash when user saved whilst highlighting an action (such as Pick lock, jump balcony, Change Clothes, Place sign etc) Fixed Crash with Post-Filter on High: After death sequence inside the manor on Beldingford Manor level, or inside meat plant on Meat King level.

HITMAN CONTRACTS PLAYABLE DEMO

The runes were cast, the portents thundered and then Gertie warbled on about a playable HITMAN CONTRACTS demo being discovered buried deep within a digital domain guarded unscrupulously by sentinel bots poised for imminent attack. Gertie, our fearless spider, dug deep and extracted the media, promptly delivering with fearless abandonment. Agent 47 is now in playable format in this 130MB demo from IO Interactive.
