GUARDIAN OF LIGHT 4-WEEK XBOX DEAL
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will release exclusively on Microsoft Xbox 360 for a period of four weeks before becoming available on Sony Playstation 3 and Steam (Windows PC), Crystal Dynamics have confirmed to Eurogamer. This is a requirement of all games that are a part of Microsoft's Summer of Arcade promotion.

Crystal Dynamics are inviting fans in the Bay area to their studio for a chance to play Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light ahead of the August 18 release. According to Keir Edmonds: 'While I'm here in lovely San Francisco, I'd love to be able invite you along the studio have a play on LCGoL before it's released. '

GUARDIAN OF LIGHT OUT AUGUST 18 2010
Crystal Dynamics have confirmed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be available on Xbox 360 on August 18, 2010. In a post on Tomb Raider Forums, Keir Edmonds also confirms dates for both PC and Sony Playstation 3 versions will be announced soon. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will be available as part of the Xbox Live Arcade's Summer of Arcade for 1200 MS Points.

'DOWNFALL' IS NOT A TOMB RAIDER GAME
Rumours of a new Tomb Raider game named 'Downfall' - due for release during Christmas 2011 - have hit many video-game web sites. In the wake of a lull in actual fact-based news, many journalists are suggesting this is the next big Lara Croft game. It is not.
