EMBRACER GROUP ANNOUNCES VIDEO GAMES ARCHIVE

Embracer Group, owners of 134 internal game development studios including Gearbox Software, Crystal Dynamics and Eidos-Montreal, has announced the formalisation of the Embracer Games Archive, a database of over 60,000 titles that will preserve the history and heritage of video-games.

Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics has announced a live panel featuring the 'incredible women on the Crystal Dynamics narrative team.' The panel includes Tomb Raider Narrative Designer Belinda Garcia and Tomb Raider Lead Writer Samantha Wallschlaeger. The broadcast will begin on 30th of March at 11AM PT on Twitch.

EMBRACER GROUP PUBLISHES 2022 Q3 INTERIM REPORT

Embracer Group has published the interim report for Q3, the period October-December 2022. Embracer Group own 132 internal game development studios including Gearbox Software, Crystal Dynamics and Eidos-Montreal. The Group has an extensive catalog of over 850 owned or controlled franchises including Borderlands and Tomb Raider.

EMBRACER GROUP OUTLINES TIMELINE FOR RELEASES

Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors has stated 31 AAA games are scheduled to be released by FY 2027/2028 including 19 games that will ship by FY 2025/2026 during his presentation for Q3 2022. There is no specific mention on whether Tomb Raider is included but these dates do provide an overview of when Embracer Group expect their big hitters to land.
