EIDOS MONTREAL IMPACTED BY EMBRACER RESTRUCTURING

Shadow of the Tomb Raider developer Eidos Montreal has issued a statement following a series of redundancies that have impacted the studio. Formed in November 2007, Eidos Montreal is responsible for developing the Deux Ex franchise, Thief, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Marvel's Avengers and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is scheduled to release in just over a month and all of the online stores are offering pre-order discounts on the classic Tomb Raider series. GOG, Epic Games, Steam, Xbox and Nintendo are offering a ten percent discount on pre-orders and Sony is matching this offer for subscribers of Playstation Plus. EMBRACER GROUP ANNOUNCES BORROWING EXTENSION

Embracer Group, owners of over 900 owned or controlled franchises including Borderlands and Tomb Raider, has announced agreements with its two main credit and loan facilities have been extended until February and May 2025, respectively. The value of the agreements is SEK 17 billion.
