EMBRACER GROUP READIES NEW HOME FOR CRYSTAL DYNAMICS AND TOMB RAIDER

Crystal Dynamics, the developer of the Tomb Raider series, is among the businesses scheduled to transfer to Fellowship Entertainment, with the separation expected to take place in calendar year 2027. The studio was acquired by Embracer Group from Square Enix in August 2022. The Tomb Raider intellectual property will also transfer to Fellowship Entertainment as part of the planned separation.

TOMB RAIDER REMASTERED COLLECTIONS REACH ESTIMATED 336,000 STEAM SALES

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered has sold an estimated 250,000 units on Steam and generated USD 5.1 million in revenue since its release in February 2024. The collection has an 84.4% positive review rating and recorded a peak of 298 active players within the past 24 hours. Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, released in February 2025, has sold an estimated 86,000 units on Steam and generated USD 1.8 million in revenue. The second collection has a positive review rating of 87.9% and reached a peak of 114 active players within the past 24 hours. These figures, compiled by VG Insights, relate exclusively to the Steam platform.

EMBRACER GROUP PUBLISHES Q4 2025/26 INTERIM REPORT, ADJUSTED EBIT SEK 360M

Embracer Group has published its interim report for the fourth quarter of the 2025/26 financial year, covering the period from January to March 2026. The company operates as a global network of creative and entrepreneurial businesses within the PC, console, and mobile gaming sectors. Its portfolio comprises more than 400 owned or controlled franchises, including Tomb Raider, and 53 internal game development studios, such as Crystal Dynamics and Eidos-Montreal.

EMBRACER GROUP TO SPIN OFF FELLOWSHIP ENTERTAINMENT IN 2027 LISTING PLAN

Embracer Group has announced plans to spin off its Fellowship Entertainment division as a separate company listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. The separation is expected to take place in calendar year 2027. Existing Embracer shareholders will receive shares in the new entity through a Lex ASEA dividend, subject to approval. Both companies will maintain a dual A and B share class structure. From the first quarter of the 2026/27 financial year, Embracer will report the two businesses as separate segments.

CRYSTAL DYNAMICS, FLYING WILD HOG AND EIDOS MONTREAL DEVELOPING TOMB RAIDER

Phil Rogers, CEO of Embracer Group, states that the Tomb Raider intellectual property is being developed by Crystal Dynamics, with co-development by Flying Wild Hog and Eidos Montreal, during a strategy update on the group's video game portfolio as part of its Q4 2026 report. Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis is the first major Tomb Raider title in eight years and will be published by Amazon Games, with Tomb Raider Catalyst scheduled for release shortly afterwards.
