TOMB RAIDER DVD RELEASES NOV 13

Paramount Pictures have confirmed its summer block-buster Lara Croft: Tomb Raider will be ported to DVD and released November 13th 2001 as part of a special edition multi-disk presentation. Additional DVD features include a Directors commentary, behind the scenes footage, cast and crew interviews, a twenty five minute Diggin segment which will sport an alternative title sequence, footage from each episode of Core Designs Tomb Raider video-game, interviews with the team that designed Tomb Raider, a collection of official trailers, four previously deleted scenes and the Oscar nominated Elevation music video performed by Irish rock group U2. The movie will also makes its VHS debut the same day.

PRELIMINARY WORK BEGINS ON SEQUEL

Oscar winner Angelina Jolie has revealed that preliminary work is about to begin on a sequel to Paramount Pictures Lara Croft: Tomb Raider motion picture and says she will continue in her role as Core Designs British archaeologist Lara Croft.

EIDOS DISCHARGED FROM $5B LAWSUIT

Eidos Interactive, the U.K publishers behind Core Designs Tomb Raider video game, have been discharged from a $5 billion lawsuit bought forward by families of victims from America's Columbine High School Massacre who claimed videogames directly influenced the shooting and made violence pleasurable and disconnected from reality.

LARA BANNED FROM MILAN PARISH

An Italian priest has banned Core Designs Tomb Raider videogame from his parish because he deems sultry adventurer Lara Croft too sexy for his fellow priests, instead allowing them to thrash the likes of Tekken 3 and Crazy Taxi in a bid to learn more about youth culture, Ananova reports today.
