DARK HORSE DIRECT TEASES 'SURVIVOR ERA' LARA CROFT STATUE

Dark Horse Direct has teased a new Lara Croft 'Survivor Era' statue ahead of the Tomb Raider franchise marking its 28-year anniversary since the first Tomb Raider video-game released. Tomb Raider, originally developed by Core Design and published by Eidos Interactive, released on 24th of October, 1996, in the United Kingdom. A video teasing the upcoming statue was posted on the official Dark Horse Direct X page.

The Tomb Raider video-game franchise has exceeded 100 million units worldwide, Crystal Dynamics has announced. Aspyr Media and Crystal Dynamics have announced the next chapter in Lara Croft's iconic classic adventures will continue in Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered launches on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via GOG, Steam and the Epic Games Store on 14th of February, 2025, and is available to pre-order today.

BBC Archive has published an interview with Heather Gibson, Stuart Atkinson and Gavin Rummery, some of the team that made Tomb Raider, about their surprise hit and how the British computing boom of the 80s has furnished the UK with a supremely talented generation of programmers. TOMB RAIDER COLLECTION 1 OUT NOW ON EVERCADE

Tomb Raider Collection 1 releases today on Evercade, a cartridge-based retro gaming platform from Blaze Entertainment. Tomb Raider Collection 1 includes the first three Lara Croft-helmed video-games developed by Core Design, comprising Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II and Tomb Raider III, in their original 32-bit console form.
