EIDOS SELLS OFF CORE DESIGN STUDIO

British publisher Eidos - the company assimilated into SCi Entertainment Group earlier this year - has hammered the final nail into the coffin of Core Design by selling off the Derbyshire-based studio and moved towards opening a new studio in Sweden, trade paper MCV reports this morning.

Capcom has released 36 new screen shots showcasing Without Warning, Circle Studio's first person '24-style' shooter penned to debut October 2005. Without Warning will release on the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft.

IAN LIVINGSTONE JOINS CIRCLE STUDIO

Circle Studio has appointed Ian Livingstone as Non-executive Chairman on the day the Derbyshire-based studio announces its intention to seek admission of its shares to trading on the AIM Market ('AIM') of the London Stock Exchange.
