ANGELINA JOLIE BEGINS KENYAN SHOOTING

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie and Co. has assembled in Kenya to continue shooting Paramount Pictures Tomb Raider movie sequel The Cradle of Life, All Africa reports today. A local film crew bundled into a mini-bus Tuesday morning and drove to Naivasha, situated one hour outside the capital Nairobi, to prep the area for the later arrival of Angelina Jolie - donning hot-pants and pistols for her second foray as British archeologist Lara Croft - and her supporting cast.

SEQUEL SHOOTING CONCLUDES IN WALES

Angelina Jolie and her entourage have concluded shooting scenes for The Cradle Of Life: Tomb Raider 2 in six locations in and around Snowdonia, a region of North Wales, a spokesman for the production confirmed to the Daily Post today. Welsh Culture Minister Jenny Randerson thanked the 27-year-old Oscar-winner for her visit and promised further assembly backing for the film industry. Film productions like this not only benefit the local economy, but also have longer term benefits that derive from Wales being seen on cinema and television screens all over the world, Mrs Randerson said.

LARA CROFT STAR TO PORTRAY FBI AGENT

Hollywood superstars Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke will star in Warner Bros Taking Lives motion picture based on the book by British author Michael Pye. The film tells the tale of a female FBI agent who enrolls a deranged psycho-killer to solve a horrific murder. Taking Lives is helmed by Four Weddings and a Funeral director Mike Newell and begins shooting in November.

ACCIDENT DELAYS TOMB RAIDER SHOOTING

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has interrupted shooting scenes for the Tomb Raider sequel following an accident involving her 13-month-old adopted son Maddox. The baby was flown to Liverpool's Alder Hay Children's Hospital on Tuesday where he received treatment for three days. A hospital spokeswoman confirmed that the baby-boy was discharged on Friday although refused to disclose details of the injury. A statement later released said: Ms Jolie would like to extend her sincere thanks to all the staff at Alder Hey hospital for their care in looking after her son.
