BUTLER LIKENS CHARACTER TO HANS SOLO

Gerard Butler, supporting Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie in Par's Tomb Raider sequel The Cradle Of Life, has likened his character to that of Han Solo from George Lucas' Star Wars movies, SciFi.com reports today. I think the best way to describe him would be as kind of like a Han Solo from Star Wars. He's this kind of roguish bad boy with a cheeky smile who you don't want to mess with.

JOLIE CALLS FOR AID FOR SRI LANKA

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie said on Wednesday she was moved by stories of lives shattered by two decades of war in Sri Lanka and called on the international community to back the island's peace process. Jolie, a goodwill ambassador for the U.N.'s refugee body, said she was saddened after listening to a group of 500 war-traumatized orphan girls say they did not want to be mothers when they grew up.
