CHRIS BARRIE FUELS TOMB RAIDER 3 DEBATE

Chris Barrie, the British actor charged with the role of Lara Croft's fussing butler Hillary in Paramount Pictures Lara Croft Tomb Raider motion pictures, has added more fuel to the rumour of a third pic to complete the trilogy during a web chat with UK tabloid The Sun. Now I've done a big feature film - even though it was only a cameo role - I'm hungry to do more movies. My name is being talked about for various things and I am going for more auditions now. It's quite competitive when you see who you're up against - people like Rik Mayall and Neil Pearson. We're all going up for the roles of 'eccentric British comedy person'.

FINAL CHAPTER IN TOMB RAIDER TRILOGY

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life producer Lloyd Levin has said international returns were more than respectable enough to ensure a final chapter in the Tomb Raider motion picture trilogy despite domestic indifference, according to an article in the Official Playstation Magazine (U.S) this coming March 2004.

EIDOS PLC TO RETAIN CORE DESIGN STUDIO

Eidos Plc has confirmed Core Design Ltd will continue to operate in its current capacity as a leading videogame developer contrary to an article we published Friday 31 September 2003 suggesting the impending downgrading of operations at the Derbyshire-based studio. A statement released by Eidos today concluded that Core Design is very much part of Eidos' long term plans and will be retained as a development studio. Our article published Friday 31 September 2003 was therefore in error, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

TOMB RAIDER 3 UNCERTAIN SAYS ANGELINA

Following the mediocre box office performance of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life, the second of three proposed movies staring computer video-game heroine Lara Croft, Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has cast doubt over whether Paramount Pictures will bankroll a third motion pic during a recent interview. I'm filming Alexander in Pinewood, England, right now with Colin Farrell and Val Kilmer. I don't think there will be a Tomb Raider 3, but I'm trying to do as much as I can right now. Then I'll have another baby, and then I'll take some time off and learn to fly a plane.

KORN PUSH BACK NEW ALBUM TO NOV 25

Korn has pushed back the release of their sixth studio album, Take A Look In The Mirror, by one week. The disc will now arrive on November 25, instead of November 18. A single called Right Now should be showing up at radio stations around the country this week. The band's website says the new album will contain between 10 to 13 tracks... Drums and bass tracks have both been laid and finished. The guitar tracks were being finished on the night of September 25. Jonathan [Davis, lead singer] is currently writing lyrics as you read this, and has been working from 8 p.m. every night 'till early into the next morning.
