The baby boy being adopted by Oscar winners Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton is among 18 Cambodian children cleared by the Immigration and Naturalization Service for adoption by American families. Jolie and Thornton, like other families, still must apply for a U.S. visa for their son, but the process is expected to be smooth since the INS has investigated the case of each child it has cleared.

Hollywood is awash with rumours about Paramount's Tomb Raider movie sequel, and the latest to matriculate from the screw factory places former Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie in the running once again for a second stint as British aristocrat Lara Croft after dialogue surfaced earlier this week of Jolie talking about shooting underwater scenes from the sequel.

Former Big Breakfast presenter Kelly Brook is reportedly in talks with movie producers to replace Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft in Paramount Picture's second Tomb Raider motion picture. Due to begin principal photography next month at Pinewood Studios, Jolie - who is finalising the adoption of a Cambodian baby with husband Billy Bob Thornton - may not want to re-appear in the action adventure sequel despite confirming last year she would resume the role of British aristocrat Lara Croft for a further two episodes.

The Raider star and daughter of actor Jon Voight, who made her own name playing notorious Seventies lesbian supermodel Gia Carangi in 1998's explicit TV movie Gia, has announced that she will not be getting naked on film again until she is much, much older.

Paramount Pictures Lara Croft Tomb Raider sequel will commence principal photography at Pinewood Studios in May 2002 with Angelina Jolie on-board as British aristocrat Lara Croft. The videogame adaptation is queued behind Ian Flemming's Die Another Day which concludes stunt sequences on Europe's largest soundstage later this month.
