DAISY RIDLEY TO STAR IN TOMB RAIDER?
Daisy Ridley, the British star of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has confirmed she's been in talks to star in a future Tomb Raider motion picture. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress said there had 'been conversations' about the role of Lara Croft. Last month Warner Bros. secured a Tomb Raider domain, leading to speculation the studio might be behind the reboot.

THIRD TOMB RAIDER FILM DEBUT IN 2017?
A third Tomb Raider motion picture might be arriving as soon as 2017, according to Heroic Hollywood. The superhero and comic book magazine claims an 'untitled event film' slated for 2017 will be 'The Tomb Raider.' Previously Graham King and MGM were both attached to a film reboot of the popular game franchise.

Variety reports Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Marti Noxon is on board to scribe Tomb Raider. Graham King and MGM are both on board to produce a motion picture based on the adventures of Lara Croft.

MGM ON BOARD FOR TOMB RAIDER FILM
GK Films have announced they will partner with MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer) to produce a new Tomb Raider film. Graham King took to Twitter to announce the collaboration, having secured the film rights from Square Enix in 2011. MGM also commented on the collaboration.
