The British games publishing industry's saviour has unfeasibly large breasts, wears a ponytail and hotpants and has been missing, presumed dead, for two years. She is, of course, Lara Croft, and is due to make her comeback exclusively on the PlayStation 2 on November 15, as the star of the game Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel Of Darkness.

CORE DESIGN UNDERWAY WITH AOD SEQUEL

ANGEL OF DARKNESS EXCLUSIVELY ON PS2
Eidos Interactive has announced a partnership with console giant Sony Entertainment to keep the forthcoming Tomb Raider series exclusively on the Playstation 2 video-game console as well as the PC, dispelling earlier rumours of a possible Lara Croft debut on Microsoft Corp's XBOX entertainment system.

BECKHAM CAN'T STOP ROUT AT RAGE
Rage Software, a UK games developer, yesterday stunned the market with a warning that second half sales would disappoint after turnover in the six months to December fell short of expectations. The gloomy outlook came just two days after rival games group Eidos gave its own profits alert. It knocked Rage's shares down 12 per cent to 3.75p.

A new Lara Croft for a new generation. Eidos Interactive and Core Design announce the return of the world's most famous video game character in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. The game will be released on PlayStation 2 and PC towards the end of 2002.
