Embracer Group has entered into an agreement to acquire Eidos, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix Montreal and a catalogue of IPs including Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief, Legacy of Kain and more than 50 back-catalogue games from Square Enix Holdings Ltd. SHELLEY BLOND RECORDS LINES FOR TOMB RAIDER LIVE

Shelley Blond, the original voice of British adventurer Lara Croft, has recorded lines for Tomb Raider The Live Experience. The English actress and author revealed the news on Twitter with a photograph of her recording booth session. Shelley Blond played the voice of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, the original 1996 Lara Croft-helmed adventure by Derbyshire-based studio Core Design.

TOMB RAIDER HAS SOLD 88 MILLION UNITS WORLDWIDE

Tomb Raider has sold 88 million units worldwide according to new data from Square Enix. Based on information provided by Square Enix we can estimate Tomb Raider (series) sold an additional 3 million units from September 28, 2021 to April 21, 2022, bringing the total to 88 million units sold worldwide at time of publication.
