Prior to the decision by Eidos plc to port development of the Tomb Raider franchise to Crystal Dynamics, former Lara Croft architects Core Design were working on their own commemorative edition of Tomb Raider to celebrate 10 years of Lara Croft. While this version of the game was subsequently canned when Core Design were disbanded, a steady flow of media showcasing the work has been forthcoming.

Jane Cavanagh, Bill Ennis and Rob Murphy have stepped down from their respective positions as CEO, Managing Director, Publishing and Managing Director, Studios and will leave the Company with immediate effect.

A stunning new Tomb Raider Underworld render showcasing Lara Croft in a death-defying grab has appeared online in glorious HQ resolution. The render had previously been used as cover artwork by numerous print magazines who began rolling out coverage on Tomb Raider Underworld in December 2007.
