SCi ENTERTAINMENT GROUP REJECTS BID

SCi Entertainment Group, owner of Eidos plc, has announced it will not persue an approach by an unnamed third party for a considerable stake in the company. Although SCi does not identify the source of the offer, recent press reports have speculated NBC Universal as likely suitor.

TOMB RAIDER VIGNETTE SEASONS ENGAGE

To herald the arrival of Tomb Raider Legend in 2006, Eidos produced a series of vignettes to support a global advertising and awareness campaign. A 'vignette' is a short, impressionistic scene that focuses on one moment or gives a trenchant impression about a character, an idea, or a setting. 16 short films were produced by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos and the deployment was met with a resounding success.

NBC UNIVERSAL ENTERS EIDOS PLC TALKS

NBC Universal being touted as possible suitor. According to trade paper MCV, The Daily Mail is reporting that 'Eidos parent SCi is involved in dual discussions with existing ten per cent shareholder Time Warner and a new suitor - NBC Universal.'
