Game Wallpapers has released a stunning new wallpaper showcasing Lara Croft in Tomb Raider Anniversary, a special celebratory video-game heralding 10 years of subterranean exploits. Tomb Raider Anniversary is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and is set for release on PS2, Sony PSP and PC in 2007.

NEW TOMB RAIDER MOVIE COVERS DEBUT

Paramount Pictures has unveiled three new DVD covers for the re-release of both Lara Croft Tomb Raider motion pictures starring Angelina Jolie, fuelling speculation the studio may soon announce a third movie based on the video-game heroine of the same name.

Eidos has released fifteen spanking new Sony PSP screenshots showcasing hand-held action from Tomb Raider Anniversary, a special celebratory video-game to commemorate Lara Croft. Tomb Raider Anniversary is being developed by Crystal Dynamics and will release in Spring 2007.

JANE CAVANAGH SCORES OBE IN HONOURS

Eidos head honcho Jane Cavanagh has scored an Order Of The British Empire (OBE) in the 2007 New Year honours list. Jane Cavanagh founded SCi Entertainment Group in 1988 and is one of the most experienced executives in the games industry. As founder of SCi, Jane owned 100% of SCi until its flotation in 1996.
