EIDOS RESPONDS TO SHARE MOVEMENT

The Board of Eidos has noted the recent rise in the Company's share price. Although, as described below, discussions with potential offerors are continuing, the Board is not aware of any particular reason to justify this movement.

TOMB RAIDER HEADS TO HD DVD CATALOG

Paramount Home Entertainment, a division of Viacom Inc. announced today at the CES HD DVD press conference that more than 20 titles from the studio's renowned library - including such new releases as The Manchurian Candidate, starring Denzel Washington and 2005 Golden Globe nominee Meryl Streep, and the upcoming Cameron Crowe film Elizabethtown, are planned for release on the next-generation HD DVD format beginning in Q4 2005. Other Paramount titles to be released on HD DVD include such hits as the Tom Hanks' Academy Award winning blockbuster Forrest Gump and Lara Croft Tomb Raider, directed by Simon West.

Actor Johnny Depp has topped IMDb.com's 2004 STARmeter. Lindsay Lohan placed a strong second in the rankings. The movie resource and database Web site also had Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and Angelina Jolie rounding out the top five as it unveiled its top 25 movie stars.

It was 1996 when a little development house out of the U.K finished work on a lush new adventure game featuring a brunette archeologist named Lara Croft. It was a defining moment for me as I watched her strut seductively across my screen and into the sex symbol status that would turn the gaming world on its head. Fast-forward eight years through the evolution of next-gen hardware, multimillion-dollar budgets, and massive acceptance of games in pop culture.
