EIDOS RELEASES SECOND HITMAN TRAILER

Promising to take you deeper into the mind of Agent 47, Tomb Raider Chronicles has dispatched a second HQ trailer direct via Eidos plc to herald the latest instalment of the best selling videogame franchise. Hitman: Contracts stars ruthless killer Agent 47, charged again with toppling another sinister populous in the third best-selling third-person shooter from IO Interactive. Game will release on PC, Sony Playstation 2 and Microsoft XBOX.

THE ANGEL OF DARKNESS GOES PLATINUM

Eidos announces that the multi-million selling Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness is coming to Sony’s PlayStation 2 Platinum range. Originally released in June 2003, Lara Croft’s chart-topping epic adventure, her first on PlayStation 2, will be available from April 9th 2004. Accused of the murder of her former mentor, Werner Von Croy, Lara becomes a fugitive on the run. UPN RELEASES GAME OVER SITCOM TRAILER

In the second part of Games Industry's detailed look at the UK software market in 2003, stat-master Kristan Reed casts his eye over the sales figures for the Top 100 best selling games of the year and uncovers several anomalies that were not merely confined to titles aimed at the younger audience, specifically Eidos' Time Splitters 2 notching up 45 per cent of the sales on the Xbox against the PS2's 44 per cent, while Max Payne 2 managed only 40 per cent of its sales on PS2. TOMB RAIDER LAND ROVER AT NEW MUSEUM

Lara Croft's Land Rover from Tomb Raider and Austin Powers' Union Jack painted E type Jaguar will join British secret agent James Bond's Vanquish from Die Another Day in a display at the newly overhauled Coventry Transport Museum which opens its doors Monday 15 March 2004, reports Country Observer. Fresh from a £7.5 million renovation funded by the City Council, Coventry Transport Museum now sports an introductory gallery which explains the history of the cars that now reside there.

UPN RELEASES GAME OVER SITCOM TRAILER

Prime Time's first ever CGI-animated series, Game Over, has broadcast on UPN. The groundbreaking comedy, set within the animated world of a video-game, follows the home life of the Smashenburn family: Rip (voiced by Patrick Warburton), Raquel (Lucy Liu), Alice (Rachel Dratch) and Billy (E.G. Daily). Lara Croft, the Tomb Raider herself, will make an anticipated guest appearance alongside Raquel to have a heroine heart-to-heart over an espresso.
