EIDOS PLC PARTNERS WITH HIGHWAY 1

Eidos, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, today announced it has secured a development partnership deal with Highway 1 Productions, Inc. (Hwy 1), a newly founded independent production company. Eidos and Hwy 1 have recently begun development on a third person, urban action game with an online component for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system and Xbox(R) video game system from Microsoft. The game will be formally announced and showcased in the Eidos' booth at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), held annually in Los Angeles, CA from May 12-14, 2004.

EIDOS CONCLUDES IO PURCHASE PHASE ONE

Following the Company's conditional exchange of contracts announcement of 4 March 2004, and all conditions precedent having been satisfied, the Board of Eidos plc today announces that it has completed part one of the acquisition of the entire issued and to be issued share capital in IO Interactive, representing a 90.1% interest.

DJIMON HOUNSOU TO APPEAR IN ABC'S ALIAS

Djimon Hounsou, star of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life and nominated as ShoWest's Supporting actor of the Year for his role opposite Paddy Considine in Jim Sheridan's In America, has been tapped to guest star in ABC's covert thriller Alias to be broadcast Sunday March 28. The 38-year-old Benin, West African born actor will make a special guest cameo appearance as the head of a criminal fraternity during the one hour show.

WONDERLAND ACQUIRES TOMB RAIDER RIDE

Paramount's Kings Island has just acquired a Canadian counterpart with the announced launch of the first aerial rollercoaster based on the Lara Croft Tomb Raider motion pic. Paramount Canada's Wonderland bills the new Tomb Raider Ride as the thrills of a rollercoaster while experiencing the sensation of flying. The attraction will debut beginning of the 2004 holiday season at Paramount Canada's Wonderland amusement park.

PINEWOOD-SHEPPERTON PREPARE IPO JUMP

Pinewood-Shepperton, the UK studios used in the filming of Die Another Day, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and the Carry On comedies, is seeking a stock market listing expected to value the company at about £150m ($275m). Michael Grade, the former chairman of Channel 4 and chairman of the studio, is expected to cash in his stake in the business as part of the listing.
