ANGELINA JOLIE TO ADOPT AFRICAN BOY

Angelina Jolie has decided to adopt her next child from Africa, after her three-year-old son declared he wants a sibling from the continent. The stunning actress, who adopted Maddox from Cambodia, had planned to bring a little boy from Russia into her home, with various reports suggesting she'd had her sights set on an orphan by the name of Gleb.

TOMB RAIDER REVIVES CAMBODIAN FILMS

After a decade of silence, Cambodia's movie industry is enjoying a boom due to a dash of Hollywood attention, burgeoning nationalism and cheaper production costs, industry insiders say. Despite a complete lack of film or acting schools, Cambodian movie-makers last year shot 30 digital films. Some were of questionable quality but all had full cinema releases, compared to just one from 1996 to 2002.

TOMB RAIDER DUO TAP THE WATCHMAN

Paramount Pictures is in negotiations with British director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy) to helm vigilante action-adventure The Watchmen, with Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin (Lara Croft Tomb Raider) producing. Project will based on the DC Comics series of the same name, originally published in 1986. Scripter David Hayter (X-Men) signed a seven-figure deal at Universal three years ago to adapt the series.
