MODEL NELL MCANDREW JUMPS FOR JOY

If Nell McAndrew was scared as she made her first parachute jump yesterday, she certainly didn't show it. The model held her nerve and smiled with delight as she made a tandem jump with Flight Sergeant Ian Charnock at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. Nell made the leap at 12,000ft on the same day as she was named top of the celebrity fit-list. A panel of experts selected Nell as the healthiest female celebrity in a study for Zest health and fitness magazine. Brad Pitt was voted the fittest male star.

TOMB RAIDER STAR JOLIE GETS INKED AGAIN

A brief visit to Thailand has left an indelible mark on Angelina Jolie. After a two-day visit to Cambodia, the 29-year-old actress stopped in Bangkok on Wednesday to have a tiger tattooed on her lower back by a well-known local artist, The Nation newspaper reported Friday. Jolie spent more than two hours at a hotel having the 12-inch-long image applied by renowned tattooist Sompong Kanphai, the newspaper said.

NEW SKY CAPTAIN TRAILER AND MOVIE CLIP

Paramount Pictures has released a new full trailer for Kerry Conran's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, opening in theaters on September 17. Also now online is the first clip from the film, featuring an undersea battle. In the action-thriller, famous scientists around the world have mysteriously disappeared and Chronicle reporter Polly Perkins (Gwyneth Paltrow) along with ace aviator Sky Captain (Jude Law) are on the investigation.

GAME OVER FOR CONFOUNDING FACTOR

Confounding Factor's upcoming Galleon will be the first, and last, title from the development company, according to a recent Gamespot report. Sources close to the company, founded back in 1997 by Toby Gard and Paul Douglas, indicate that the studio will be shut down after the game is released in North America. Previously responsible for the creation of the Tomb Raider franchise, Gard and Douglas began Confounding Factor after leaving Core Design due to a conflict of interest regarding a sequel to the hit game.
